Give God Glory (Spring 2025)

…for TWELVE years of caring for the community! We recently celebrated our twelfth birthday with a lasagna lunch from Katallasso volunteer, Deb Chmiel (pictured above, and, yes, that is a 12 made of cheese on the lasagna!). We are humbled by the community support through the years. We plan to continue providing care until every uninsured family member is valued, cared for, and loved.

….for Judy Pittenger’s five years of service as a Katallasso staff nurse. Judy (pictured above, with other team members) officially retired in early March 2025, completing a 56-year nursing career. Judy’s incredible experience and her bond with our patients will be missed. We wish her God’s richest blessings in her retirement.

…for the generous donation of an ultrasound machine from Bard. This will be used for diagnostic imaging to assess various medical conditions. An in-house ultrasound machine is a game-changer for our volunteer providers with pulmonology, cardiology, orthopedics, OBGYN, and GI specialties. It enhances patient care by providing real-time imaging for faster and more accurate diagnoses, reducing the need for external referrals.
