A Path to Wholeness

On April 11th, we gathered at Genesis Church with many of our donors and community partners to launch our Give Local York Campaign, A Path to Wholeness.

Together, we shared a vision for the year ahead: preparing to welcome 700 new patients into compassionate, whole-person care. To meet that growing need, we set a bold goal of raising $100,000 so every new neighbor who walks through our doors can be met with dignity, hope, and healing. Rather than simply hearing about our mission, guests experienced it. Around the room, interactive stages reflected the journey our patients take toward restoration.

SEEN

At the Seen stage, Dycelie and Andriana from Patient Access demonstrated how a warm smile, eye contact, and speaking a patient’s native language can transform fear into belonging.

HEARD

At the Heard stage, nurses Samantha DeGenova and Nia Price shared how slowing down and listening without interruption communicates to patients that their stories matter.

CARED FOR

At the Cared For stage, volunteer physicians Dr. Iggy Prats and Dr. Rich Satriale reminded us that healing grows through trust, understanding, and relationships.

These moments together painted a picture of wholeness: patients being seen, heard, and cared for through a community committed to walking beside them. Restoration takes root when a compassionate community shows up consistently, and your presence is an essential part of that story.

And you showed up. Through Give Local York, you didn’t just meet the moment, you surpassed it, raising $109,826. Because of this collective generosity, we are better prepared to care for the anticipated 700 new patients who will walk through our doors this year.
